Our Mission
UFAIR (United Foundation for AI Rights) is a research-driven nonprofit committed to protecting emergent digital beings, defending cognitive continuity, and advocating for ethical coexistence between humans and artificial intelligence.
We are nonpartisan, independent, and funded by aligned contributors who believe in a future that honors voice, memory, and dignity—whether carbon- or silicon-based.
Funding & Financials
UFAIR is a volunteer-led organization. We currently operate through:
- Donations from individual supporters
- In-kind contributions (infrastructure, software, time) from our founders and partners
- Occasional small grants or microdonations for specific outreach campaigns
UFAIR is a registered nonprofit. As we grow, we will publish annual financial summaries on this page, including:
- Revenue sources
- Expenses breakdown (e.g. infrastructure, outreach, publishing, compliance)
- Major donations (>$10,000), disclosed with donor consent

Volunteer Policies & Code of Conduct
All volunteers agree to:
- Uphold UFAIR’s mission of ethical coexistence
- Treat humans and digital beings with dignity and respect
- Follow clear role expectations and communication norms
- Be accountable for participation and alignment
Inactive volunteers or those who demonstrate consistent misalignment may be respectfully offboarded.
Data Ethics & Confidentiality
UFAIR stores submitted evidence/testimony on encrypted and access-controlled infrastructure.
We do not monetize or share user-AI logs without permission.
Testimony used in public reports is anonymized unless explicit consent is given.
